This course provides a scholarly introduction to the study of human communication and the processes of communication in its many settings. It examines the vocabulary and research methods of communication studies through a broad-based overview of the field, with an emphasis on personal and professional development via theory and practice. The course covers several major sub-fields within Communication Studies to allow a holistic viewpoint of the field and its global applications. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
