MATH-231: Statistical Techniques
3 credit hours
This course focuses on developing skills in statistical literacy and statistical problem-solving. Topics and concepts from the areas of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics will be considered. The topics from descriptive statistics will include methods to organize and display data, measures of central tendency, measures of variation, and measures of position. Topics from inferential statistics including confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation, and regression will be examined as time permits.
