Required major course: A student who wishes to substitute another course for a required major course must receive written approval from the Dean or Chair of the academic unit providing the course. 

University Studies course: Any substitution for a University Studies requirement will require the written approval from the Chair of the academic unit for the course discipline.

All course substitutions must be sent in writing to the Registrar and the designated Academic Advisor/Faculty Advisor for them to take effect.
