FIN-470: Investments

This course will delve into the complex world of investments, exploring the investment environment and key market transactions that drive economic activity. Students will engage with modern portfolio concepts, examining the principles of risk and return while considering the psychological aspects of investing through behavioral finance. The curriculum will cover essential topics such as stocks, fixed income securities, and derivatives like calls and puts. Additionally, students will gain practical experience by creating a stock market portfolio using various internet resources, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios and enhance their decision-making skills in investment management.
