EDU-637: Learner-Centered Environments and Experiences I

3 credit hours

This course explores the relationship between the physical learning environment and student outcomes. Students will examine research regarding the psychology and neuroscience of classroom design and evaluating its impact on classroom environments and outcomes. Learners will engage in analyzing learning environments and their ability to support instruction, develop plans for designing
learner-centered environments, identify ways in to use the classroom space to amplify learning within their school environments, and to select data sources to measure implementation effectiveness.
