KSAG-330: History of Graphic Design

This course is an historical survey of Graphic Design including pivotal events and achievements that led to the current state of graphic communication. Students are introduced to the creative thinkers, important innovations and breakthrough technologies that have shaped the evolution of visual communication. The course will study how Graphic Design is affected by international, social, political, and technological developments in history. Students will create design projects in response to particular historical epochs. May be taken as KSAH 330 to fulfill an art history elective.
