ART-255: Graphic Design II

3 credit hours

This studio class builds upon the lessons of Graphic Design I and expands the level of research and process in the work. We will explore how designers craft and shape messages through semiotics and audience interaction. This class will incorporate the student’s studio practice to help their design work by exploring critical thinking, application of visual principles, and various technical processes. The aim of this class is to develop content-driven projects involving the experiences, mediums, media, and other disciplines that the student has taken through a design-thinking-based approach. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
