KSAG-376: Motion Graphics

3 credit hours

Students learn the skills necessary to make work at several of the key stages involved in creating short motion graphics pieces: ideation,
narrative, storyboards. Utilizing photography, video and music students will learn to apply design principles to time-based media. Some of the projects may include: title sequences,  identification/ animated logo clips, projected video, and short micro films. This course is a
medium for experimentation, idea generation, problem solving and communication when creating motion in graphics. Basic design principles will be applied through software such as Adobe After Effects and apps on their mobile devices.
