KSAG-377: Narrative Drawing including the Graphic Novel

This studio course is for students interested in abstract and figurative sequential image making. The student will explore all aspects of the language of visual narrative through iconic and representational forms. We will discuss the role of the comic strip as a narrative, semiotic-rich device for artists and designers. Graphic novels, photo-collages, a web-comic, children's stories, film or animation studies will develop students' visual and conceptual thinking.
