NURS-330: Nursing II
7 credit hours
Building on content covered in Nursing One, this course focuses on concepts related to common illnesses of the adult. Students will utilize the nursing process in the care and management of patients experiencing cardiac, respiratory, endocrine, neurological, renal and oncologic conditions. In addition, this course will continue to develop knowledge of pharmacology and nutrition needs of patient experiencing the conditions presented. Aspects of Health promotional needs of the client and the family transitioning back to the community are also discussed.
The clinical practicum will be conducted in various inpatient setting and include simulated laboratory scenarios.
