ENG-313: Writing for the Media

This course delves into the principles and techniques of writing for the media, equipping students with the skills needed to craft compelling and impactful content across print, digital, and broadcast mediums. Through a blend of theory and practical exercises, students explore the nuances of different media formats, including news articles, press releases, social media posts, scripts, and more. Emphasis is placed on understanding audience demographics, maintaining journalistic integrity, and adapting writing styles to suit different platforms. By the end of the course, students will have honed their abilities to produce engaging content that resonates with target audiences in today's dynamic media landscape. 

Prerequisite courses: ENG-109 and ENG-110
