Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Program Overview
With the increasing reliance of corporations on interconnected systems, the role of Information Technology Specialists is in high demand. Building on Spalding’s strong liberal arts foundation, students who major in the B.S. in Information Technology will obtain the most relevant skills in Information Technology, Programming, and Cloud Management. Upon completion of the program, some of the skills students will gain include proposing and executing transformational changes to an organization’s technology systems, troubleshooting a wide range of organizational and individual IT problems, and deploying, managing, and maintaining cloud resources. Students will be prepared to sit for CompTIA A+ exam and will understand and be able to apply all concepts tested by the CompTIA Network+ exam.

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (120 total credit hours)

  • University Studies - 49 credit hours
  • Information Technology Major - 54 credit hours
  • General Electives - 17 credit hours
