This course is an overview of evidence based practice as it applies to healthcare. Students will focus on the literature review with emphasis on the steps of evidence-based practice including the heirarchy of evidence and methods to apply evidence for improvement in the practice setting. Development of the practice-based PICOT question will alsobe empahasized along with methods of practice improvement project development.
