Presents the necessary knowledge for the practice of health care of adolescents and women. It includes principles of health promotion and disease prevention. The pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of common reproductive health problems are emphasized. Prenatal care of all women is examined. This course explores the impact of culture and economic deprivation on health care behaviors pertinent to adolescents and women.
