RJ-530: Restorative Practices and School Settings

Restorative practices have been consistently used for classroom management; collaborative pedagogy; student support; emotional awareness and literacy; building a positive school climate; alternate discipline; and strengthening positive connections with parents and community. This course is designed for individuals who are or will be working with children and young adults in classrooms or similar type settings. It will provide students, teachers, guidance counselors, administrators, and school support personnel an opportunity to learn how to implement restorative practices in the classroom and greater school culture.
Prerequisites: RJ-322 or have been practicing RP in the community
