SW-426: Clinical Supervision of Substance Misuse Treatment

Clinical Supervision is central to effective client care as well as helping clinicians to operate effectively. This course will provide students with an overview of the history, role, and essential functions of the supervisor and the supervisee. In addition students will participate with in-group clinical supervision to gain a textbook to practice appreciation of the methods presented during the class. This course meets the requirement of facilities licensed as Alcohol and Other Drug Entity by the State of Kentucky for clinical supervision training.
