CHEM-100: Chemistry Around Us
3 credit hours
This class will examine the principles and applications of how chemistry relates to everyday life. Special emphasis will be on study of matter, atoms & molecules, carbon & polymer chemistry, biomolecules, water chemistry, environmental issues, and energy production. This course does not count as credit toward a natural science degree. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements. Prerequisite: Math 104 or higher. Students registered for MATH 104 may not register for CHEM 100.
