This course provides an introduction to the basic concepts and formal language of three-dimensional design. Assigned problems explore visual and physical principles of three-dimensional design: line, plane, volume, structure, and surface. Emphasis is on personal investigation, problem solving and exploration through diverse materials, processes and approaches.
