RS-375: Irish Religion and Culture
3 credit hours
This course is a survey of the history of religion in Ireland, including ancient, Celtic, Catholic, Protestant, and contemporary religious ideas and practices. An emphasis will be put on the history of the conflict between Catholics and Protestants in Ireland and the role that religion plays in individual and cultural identity. This course may be offered in conjunction with Spalding's Study Abroad in Ireland program. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
