This course prepares students to apply the nursing process to care of individuals and groups across the lifespan who are on various points of the mental health-mental illness continuum. Students will practice therapeutic communication and develop an understanding of self-awareness. Opportunities are provided to develop clinical judgment skills through participation in holistic and interdisciplinary care.
