This course will emphasize the demonstration of proficiencies in providing counseling intervention strategies and delivering responsive services to students of need through group and crisis counseling and through referrals to community resources. Emphasis will also be given to the understanding of developmental crises, disability, exceptional and addictive behaviors, and other factors which affect human behavior. (Min. 10 Clock hours of field Experiences required.)
