ART-358: Drawing with Color
3 credit hours
This course is an exploration of drawing with color using a variety of media such as chalk pastel, inks, and colored paper. Traditional and nontraditional materials will be used to reinforce the profound power of color in relationship to intent. Using simple monochromatic, complementary colors and full range of color compositions, students will learn how to use the characteristics of color and mark to compose with specific intent in mind. Independent studio work will be a requirement and weekly class critiques are a necessity to completion this course.
