This course is core to the Doctorate of Nursing Practice program.  Advanced Nursing Leadership includes the knowledge and skills needed to excel in professional leadership within complex, dynamic healthcare environments.  It is a synthesis of leadership research, theory, and organizational models within the context of health care systems.  The importance of professional communication within the context of advanced leadership is analyzed and explored.
