NURS-628: Ethical & Business Decision Making in Nursing & Healthcare Leadership

his course explores the increasing impact of ethical issues in the managerial decision-making process. It covers methods for analyzing and applying personal values to address organization and environmental forces that influence ethical behavior and decision making across multiple industries, including nursing and healthcare. The course will utilize analysis of case studies and experiential exercises designed to present the learner with a wide range of learning experiences. Finally, students will be encouraged to challenge their assumptions about ethical values and to examine their actions as they relate to the models presented during their course.
