CJ-230: Police Problems and Practices

This course provides an analysis of both the traditional and contemporary issues and problems existing in the law enforcement community. Topics represent a wide variety of concerns, including such areas as corruption, police use of deadly force, and the utilization of law enforcement to combat corporate crime, computer crime, and terrorism. The course will also explore implementing restorative practices in policing. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
