3 credit hours/Field Experiences Required

Offers a four-phase overview of the interaction of social, economic, political, geographic, and historical factors in human affairs as well as the content and resources for teaching social studies in the elementary school. A unit is constructed and lessons are taught to elementary students in conjunction with other methods courses.
