Application for Degree
Any graduate student who is nearing completion of a degree must submit an Application for Graduation on the Student Portal at least two months prior to the anticipated graduation date. The degree will be conferred at the next announced conferral date after the student completes all degree requirements and applies for graduation, in accordance with applicable university policies and announced deadlines.
Depending on the program, doctoral students must also submit a copy of their signed Dissertation Signature page to the Registrar's Office upon successful defense. Approved and completed dissertations, final projects, capstones or approval from the program director must be submitted at least 30 days in advance of the graduation date.
No student will be cleared and approved for graduation until the Registrar's Office verifies that all degree requirements have been successfully met. Degree audits are not official until the Registrar's Office has reviewed and verified the completion of all degree requirements and posted the student's degree.
