Mission Statement
We inspire and prepare social work practitioners to meet the needs of the times through education, application, and the lived experience of promoting peace and social justice, ethical practice, and service.

Accreditation
Both the undergraduate (BSSW) and the graduate (MSW) programs are fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The BSSW Program has been continuously accredited since 1974. The MSW Program received its first accreditation by CSWE in November 2000. Students graduating from an accredited BSSW program may be admitted to most social work graduate programs with advanced standing.
