Waived Courses
A student who is granted an exemption from taking a required course (either in the major or as a University Studies requirement) does not receive credit for the course that was waived. To meet the number of credit hours required for graduation, the student must take an elective course in lieu of the waived course. The Provost shall determine who has the authority to receive exemption requests and make decisions regarding those requests.
