Students enrolled in the Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy Post-Professional OTD (PPOTD) program may wish to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA). The PPOTD + MBA Dual Degree is a combined degree pathway intended to support students’ development of leadership, health management, and preparation to teach in higher education.

Students will have the options between two tracks:

Track 1: MBA students will complete the General MBA track, followed by the PPOTD curriculum.

Track 2: Students will take the MBA and PPOTD portions simultaneously.

• The PPOTD courses will fulfill the elective requirements for the MBA program for both program track options.
• All PPOTD courses (30 credits total) are offered through 5 trimesters in 13-week asynchronous and synchronous online courses, with the option to enroll in either the fall, spring, or summer trimesters. The MBA courses (30 credits total) are offered in 6-week online sessions, with the option to start during any session.
• Grading policies and dismissal policies in each course will apply to both programs.

Application process/eligibility: Students apply to ASOT’s Post Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate (PPOTD) program first. Once accepted to the PPOTD program, students must complete a supplemental application section that prompts them to complete the essay required for the School of Business MBA application for dual enrollment.
