MSBC-628: Purpose-Driven Business in the Global Economy

3 credit hours

This course positions your role as business leader as one that connects with business at multiple levels – self, others, the organization and society. The course analyzes the definitions and development of the Triple Bottom Line along with personal and professional values. This culminates in consideration of the “Four Ps” of people, planet, profit, and purpose when making business decisions. Leadership from all these perspectives is about "making a difference" and course material focuses deeply on the nature and type of difference intended. In particular, this course aims to increase awareness of values, ethics, beliefs, attitudes, etc. and how these might relate to issues of sustainability, performance, and culture within the domestic and global economies.
