COM-205: Discussion and Debate

3 credit hours

This course seeks to enhance student capacities for oral advocacy, careful listening, cooperative dialogue, productive deliberation and effective decision-making. Students will research, organize, and present arguments regarding ethical/social/political issues and will adapt them based on feedback received in interactions with others. Extensive participation in classroom debates is expected. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
