RS-210: Religion in America

3 credit hours
This course surveys the diversity of religions as they are encountered in American history (Native American traditions, Roman Catholocism, Protestantism, African-American religions, Judaism, new religious movements, Asian religions, and New Age traditions) but also considers what is uniquely American about different religions in America and what is religious about the broader American culture. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
