NURS-482: Dimensions of Mental Health Nursing

This course prepares students to apply the nursing process to care of individuals and groups across the lifespan who are on various points of the mental health-mental illness continuum. Students will practice therapeutic communication and develop an understanding of self-awareness. Opportunities are provided to develop clinical judgment skills through participation in holistic and interdisciplinary care. (67.5 Clinical Hours)
