This course focuses on the research underlying the formation of gender identity.  Cultural and biological underpinnings among genders are explored.  Processes that influence the relationship between gender and one's "psyche" and ultimately behavior are examined. Issues related to sexism, oppression/discrimination, and equality are also a focus or this course.
