HS-519: Neuroscience for the Health Sciences

This course presents concepts focusing upon the study of the structure and function of the central nervous system. Specific examples related to human performance and health sciences evaluation/ intervention are discussed. Demonstrating conceptual knowledge of the concepts of neuroplasticity's impact on rehabilitative and habilitative processes is a major outcome for successful course completion. This course is for Athletic Training students only.
