Studies those areas of chemistry which are not normally taught in one of the regular chemistry courses. Though the student is expected to assume the responsibility of pursuing the study project independently, he or she will work under the supervision of a faculty member. The student must prepare a written plan of study. The instructor must accept this plan and the student. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.

Prerequisite: Consent of Instructor and approval of Department Chair
