CJ-204: Introduction to Forensics

This course provides an introduction to forensic science which is the application of scientific methodology to criminal and civil processes. The following topical areas will be examined: crime scene investigation, forensic DNA, forensic chemistry, trace evidence, firearms examination, fingerprints, arson, and drug analysis among others. The responsibilities of field and laboratory personnel will be differentiated. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
