CJ-103: Theories of Criminology

3 credit hours

This introductory course studies criminality from a multi-disciplinary perspective. It examines criminological theory in relation to the offender and offense committed. It also examines criminological theory relating to the construction, regulation and violation of criminal law. Law enforcement, the court, corrections and other institutions will be critically examined from a theoretical perspective. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
