CJ-320: Crime Prevention through Environmental Design

This course will provide exposure to Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED). CPTED is a form of crime prevention theory which focuses on effective use of the physical environment and tactical design to reduce crime or the fear of crime. CPTED theories and concepts will be examined relating to practical application throughout the criminal justice system. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
