CJ-304: Restorative Justice Advanced Topics

3 credit hours

Restorative Justice has been consistently used for classroom management; collaborative pedagogy; student support; emotional awareness and literacy; building a positive school climate; alternate discipline; and strengthening positive connections with parents and community. This course is designed for individuals who are or will be working with children and young adults in classrooms or similar type settings. It will provide students, teachers, guidance counselors, administrators, and school support personnel an opportunity to learn how to implement restorative Justices in the classroom and greater school culture. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
