ART-145: Digital Media & Art I

The goal of this course is to develop a fundamental understanding of the foundational technical skills and concepts of digital art making. Using industry standard software students will create composite photographs, moving images, and vector-based drawings in this course. Through making, discussion, viewings, and readings, students will develop a basic understanding of digital culture and its connection to social, aesthetic and theoretical issues. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
