ART-174: Digital Video I
3 credit hours
This course will introduce students to the basic skills of digital video production and non-linear editing. Students will create a variety of projects ranging from personal narratives, documentary and dramatic on digital video cameras. The emphasis will be on visual storytelling and cinematic language. Screenings and readings will expose students to the history of video art, as well as various ways moving images are used in fine arts and the cinema. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
