ART-342: Web Design

3 credit hours

This course prepares students for creatively designed and planned web content with a focus on User Interaction and User Experience (Ul/ UX),the visual elements and interaction of a website. Projects may include wireframing and prototyping, exercises in structural hierarchy, designing graphics for the web, an introduction to basic web coding languages. The curriculum focuses on conceptual development and design implementation, and provides an understanding of how the designer and artist can stay up to date as technologies evolve, and their places within the world of the web change.

Prerequisites: ART-255 or ART-265
