This course will explore the expansive field of Documentary Photography. Students will focus on creating several photographic series’ based upon various approaches to documentary practices, such as social, environmental, and historical documentation. Discussion and overview of the history, theory and political influences of documentary and contemporary photography will inform and inspire students to develop their own rigorous, exploratory body of work.
