This is an advanced, applied course in nursing and healthcare organizational communication. The course will have six distinct interpersonal contexts for study: listening, perception, self-disclosure, hidden agendas, and both workplace verbal and nonverbal behavior and language skills. Students will demonstrate the use of strategies in each of the above areas for successful completion of this course.
