SW-359: Child Welfare Skills and Interventions

3 credit hours

Students will learn practice skills and treatment interventions related to social work practice with abused/neglected children and their families. These skills are developed through a variety of learning opportunities in preparation for working in child welfare. This course is required for Public Child Welfare Certification Program (PCWCP) participants and is open to other BSSW students and non-social work majors as an elective.
