Initial clinical supervised field experience with a focus on the development of clinical skills. Students will synthesize counseling skills, techniques, and theory in field placement working with clients in individual and group counseling sessions. The course requires attendance in a seminar style course that includes discussion, case presentations, and instructor trainings.

(Must consist of at least 10 weeks with a total of 100 clock hours. Of those 100 hours will be 40 client clock hours which should include 5 clock hours conducting group counseling as well.)
