SW-426: Clinical Supervision of Substance Misuse Treatment

Clinical supervision is central to effective client care and helps clinicians to operate effectively. This course will provide students with an overview of the history, role, and essential functions of the supervisor and the supervisee. In addition, students will participate in group clinical supervision to gain an appreciation of the methods presented during the class. This course meets the requirement for facilities licensed as an Alcohol and Other Drug Entity by the State of Kentucky for clinical supervision training.
