Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship- KEES

If you are eligible for the KEES Scholarship award, you will be notified by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA).

1. Your high school grades and your highest ACT score determine the amount of the KEES award.
2. Once you have graduated from high school your KEES money cannot be increased.
3. Spalding will request the KEES money for you, if you are eligible, as determined by your high school graduation date.
4. Your enrolled hours are reported to KHEAA during the first week of the semester for both fall and spring respectively.
5. Once KHEAA receives the above information, KHEAA notifies Spalding of your eligibility and the actual award amounts.
6. The KEES Scholarship is awarded for the fall and spring semesters, one academic year at a time.
7. If you have questions regarding your KEES award you can review your status online at www.kheaa.com or call the KHEAA office at (800) 928-8926.
8. Any registration changes made throughout the semester are updated with KHEAA and KEES funds will be adjusted accordingly.
